Supporting a Black Woman Owned Business

I was over here minding my black owned business and reflecting on the year of 2020. After a conversation with a friend, I realized that some people may think that supporting a business is all about buying something. I would like to first thank everyone who has supported Know Mee in every way. It is always nice when a friend buys from you instead of a competitor, supporting a brand can be done without spending a dollar. I want to share with you a number of things that you can do to help support a black woman owned business. Many of these actions take less than a minute and cost nothing.

Social Media

Like a post. This ranks the post higher for more people to see it!

Post a picture of you wearing the necklace or a necklace that you may like.

Story a picture. Stories automatically disappear so it does not take away from the esthetic of your page.

Tag @bignecklace when wearing the piece. This builds trust from others unfamiliar with the brand.

Tag people in the comments if you see a necklace that you think they would like.

Share a business card.

Share a link like with website or share the page on social media

Tell someone if they are a big necklace person even if you are not!

Gift give. If you are thinking about a gift for someone, consider a black woman owned business first.
